Decision: |
Three applications by the Claimants to the Alberta Land Compensation Board for determination of compensation pursuant to the Expropriation Act, R.S.A. 1980, c. E-13. Partial takings from three parcels of land located near Red Deer. The land was required for improvements to Highway No. 2. The Board awarded a total of $1,367,100 for market value of the land taken and $38,760 for injurious affection to one of the three parcels. A disturbance damages claim for damage to the subject property caused by a pre-taking entry by the Authority for soil testing was denied. Interest was also awarded. Costs were settled between the parties. |
