Decision: Compensation award by the Alberta Land Compensation Board pursuant to the Expropriation Act, R.S.A. 1980, c. E-16. The Board was required to consider two separate applications for determination of compensation brought by the registered owners and by a tenant. Partial taking of land required for a highway widening project. The Board made an award of compensation to the fee simple owners for the market value of the land taken in the amount of $26,234.50. Disturbance damages were awarded to the tenant in the amount of $12,264.72. The Board made a final cost award for legal and appraisal services in the amount of $35,681.33. The Board also fixed the rate of interest payable on the additional land compensation.
