Decision: Two applications by the Claimant to the Alberta Land Compensation Board pursuant to the Expropriation Act, R.S.A. 1980, c. E-16. The first application was for an order fixing the Claimant's costs pursuant to s. 39 and the second was for an order determining the applicable rate of interest pursuant to s. 66. The second application was settled between the parties prior to the hearing. The Board was therefore required to consider only the claim for costs. An award was made for legal, appraisal and other costs totalling $114,821.
